The Job Role and Responsibilities of Industrial Trainees

A hotel management trainee is expected to gain a thorough understanding of the hospitality industry, with a focus on customer service. The following are the varied functions and responsibilities of each department:

Front Office

Guests' registration and room assignment

Keep track of reservations, vacancies, and room assignments.

Answer questions about hotel services, offer advice, and respond to complaints from visitors.

Food and Beverage

Customers are greeted, shown to seats, meal and drink orders are taken, and food and beverages are served.

Answer questions about the hotel's amenities, including explaining menu items and specials and providing personalised attention.

Organizing events, parties, and other activities in collaboration with team members.

Housekeeping

Maintaining the hotel's cleanliness and beauty is your responsibility.

Servicing and maintaining guest rooms, as well as replacing supplies as needed.

Providing service goods to customers' rooms based on their requests

Production of Food

Simple meal preparation such as vegetable preparation, salads, cold starters, and so on.

Work in compliance with existing health and safety regulations. I kept the kitchen clean and sanitary.

Keep an eye on the stock and place orders for replacements as needed.

Sales

Individuals and corporations can purchase room privileges.
